Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
"Travel light, live light, spread the light, be the light"
Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. It was brought to the United States by Yogi Bhajan in 1969. It uses kriyas (exercise sets), which combines asana (posture), meditative focus, pranayama (breath-work), mudra (hand gesture), and mantra (sacred sound) to elicit a particular outcome. Practicing a kriya initiates a sequence of physical and mental changes that affect the body, mind, and spirit simultaneously. There are kriyas that support the liver, balance the glandular system, increase the flexibility of the spine, make you radiant and many more. Each kriya has a different effect, but all work on all levels of your being, to clear, cleanse and elevate the body, mind and soul.
